Film has been around since the 19th century. Game design started between the year of 1960's and 1970's. The first games made by ordinary people who liked creating them as a hobby and then later sold them on for exhibits for computer labs and for people to use as an actual source of entertainment. they originally needed large mainframes on computers. Some of the bigger companies at this day include capcom, bungee, ubisoft, infinity ward etc. To get into the game design field of work you need to have good understanding in art, maths and computer softwares, you also need to be good team worker and also willing to speak freely of ideas that you may have. you will also be asked to show a portfolio of ideas and work you have done in the past. I am very intersted in the art part of this line of work and am planning to take this up as a possible carreer choice.
